DEADLINES
Student admission to all the
graduate programs is intended for the first semester of each
academic year which begins in August. Admission in January
is also available in some programs.

All the application required documents must be received before the
above deadline. Once the deadline has passed, the Admission
Committees of the graduate programs will meet to review the
application and documents received. Once all documents have
been reviewed, the Admission Committees will begin the recommendation
process for the candidates’ admission to the University.

For the 2008-2009 academic year, which includes August 2008
and January 2009 sessions, international students can only
apply for the August admission and the deadline is December
3 of the prior year. International students who are living
temporarily in Puerto Rico and who hold F-1, L, L-2, H, H-4,
R or R2 visas will be able to apply for the January admission.
A photocopy of their visa must be submitted by the students.

Every graduate program
offers admission for the first semester of each academic
year that begins in August. Some graduate probrams
admit students for the January academic session. The admissions
deadlines for this academic year appers ahead.
All required documents must be received
by this date. Once
this deadline has passed, the Admissions Committee of the
graduate programs will meet to evaluate the applications
and the submitted documents. After evaluating the documents,
the Admissions Committees will proceed to recommend the candidates
for admission to the institution. There are some programs
that also offer admission for the second semester that begins
in January.

International Students
For the 2012-2013 academic year (August 2012-January 2013 semesters), foreign applicants may
only apply for the August session, and this admission deadline
is December
7, 2012. Those
foreign applicants living temporarily in Puerto Rico with
visas type F-1, L, L-2, H, H-4, R or R-2 are able to submit
application for the January session also. A copy of the visa
is required for those applications.
