DOCTORAL PROGRAM

Requirements for Admission

Besides the general requirements for admission to graduate studies on the Río Piedras Campus, applicants for the doctoral program in Education must:

1. possess a masters degree or the equivalent, including a thesis or other work of a creative nature that demonstrates competence for further graduate study;
2. submit EXADEP or GRE scores;
3. have a personal interview with the Admissions Committee;
4. submit two letters of recommendation.

Requirements for Graduation

In addition to the requirements for graduation from the Río Piedras Campus, the student must complete an internship requirement.

Program of Study

The doctoral program offers three specializations: Educational Administration and Supervision; Curriculum and Teaching; and Guidance and Counseling.
