Summer (after the first year):


Qualifying Exams (pass a minimum of two)

Second Year:


3 course credits (principal study area - 8000 level)

Graduate Seminar Presentation (CHEM 8901-8902)

Presentation of Research Work Plan (Second Semester)

The registration and attendance to graduate seminars (8901-8902) and group meetings each semester is an important requirement during the time the student is registered in the Graduate Program.

A graduate student, bonafide and full time, should complete all the requirements for the master’s degree in three years.

The registration and attendance to graduate seminars (8901-8902) and group meetings each semester is an indispensable requirement during the time the student is registered in the Graduate Program.

A graduate student, bonafide and full time, should complete all the requirements for the doctoral degree in five years.
