University Intramural Practice Plan (PPUI)

The Intramural University Practice Plan of the University of Puerto Rico promotes, markets and provides services to the community through professional services through its educational and auxiliary support staff. The plans established by said organization are self-sufficient and do not depend on the General Fund of the University.

The Intramural University Practice Plan of the University of Puerto Rico promotes, markets and provides services to the community through professional services through its educational and auxiliary support staff. The plans established by said organization are self-sufficient and do not depend on the General Fund of the University. Intramural practice can be used to:

  • Support research, training and service projects
  • Expose students to models of professional practice
  • Expand the potential of students and faculty

By virtue of Circular Number 48 of 2004-2005, the Rector of the Río Piedras Campus determined that the Intramural University Practice Plan would reside in the Office of the Dean of Graduate Studies and Research and the Dean of External Funds Assistance (DAFE).

The faculty of the schools and colleges of the Campus, the administrative staff, the graduate students and all those who directly or indirectly collaborate in the provision of services in the schools and colleges and any of their affiliated divisions can participate voluntarily.

The PPUI contributes to the mission and purposes of the University of Puerto Rico by making available the knowledge of the faculty assigned to the different schools and colleges of the Río Piedras Campus. The professional services provided include the following areas, among others:

  • Mentoring and consulting
  • Audit
  • Trainings and workshops
  • Program Evaluation
  • Research Development
