Admissions Process

Each graduate program at Río Piedras Campus has specific requirements for the master's, doctoral, and post graduate certificates. Most programs require, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Application for Admission to Graduate Studies
  • Recommendation for Graduate Studies (except Social Sciences)
  • Official transcripts
  • Entrance exams
  • Receipt of payment for application fee

Certain programs require additional documents, such as:

  • Published Articles
  • Essay or Statement of Purpose
  • Licenses
  • Portfolio
  • Resume or CV
  • Research Work

It is the responsibility of the applicant to verify what the documents and admission requirements of the program are and to submit them for the admission process.

Once the program evaluates the applicants and recommends candidates for admission, the Río Piedras Campus will issue an admission certification and provide the admitted student with information necessary for the registration process and application for student support services.
