Graduate programs requirements

Before applying to a graduate program, you must meet the specific requirements for admission. Each graduate program establishes different requirements and requests documents that must be submitted in order to be evaluated for admission. You may find the information regarding the specific requirements electronically or on paper. Most graduate programs have Web sites containing admission information. The following Web site contains the contact information and Web sites of the graduate programs at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus (UPR, RP).

Application for Graduate Studies

In order to be considered for a graduate program, individuals must complete and submit the Application for Graduate Studies form from UPR, R. The application to graduate programs is available in electronic format and on paper. The application form requests that you provide personal information, contact information, program of interest, research experience, professional experience, etc. Once UPR, RP receives the application and documentation required by the program, graduate admission committees evaluate the information and recommend whether or not you should be admitted. Some programs may invite you for an interview before making a final decision.
