The DAA holds the following responsibilities:

  • Orientate graduate programs on current academic regulations and standards
  • Develop and implement work plans, including student learning assessment, that provide a continuous cycle of graduate-program evaluation
  • Support  the evaluation processes of graduate programs
  • Support graduate programs in creating development plans in response to the needs and strengths observed in the evaluation process
  • Support graduate programs in their professional accreditation processes
  • Assist in the development of new academic programs
  • Assist in the creation, modification, and elimination of graduate courses
  • Foster and support the development of graduate-level renewal, innovation, and transformation projects
  • Develop systems and processes to facilitate and accelerate the collection, management, and analysis of vital data for graduate programs
  • Publish the Graduate Catalog
