MATERIAL REPRODUCTION

The students must follow the copyrights law when photocopying materials. The Copyright Law (Title 17, United States Code) controls the reproduction of any material or book copyrighted.

Under some circumstances, the law authorizes libraries and archives to provide photocopies of materials. One of the conditions is that the photocopy will be used for private study, academic, or research purposes. If the person requests a photocopy or reproduction that exceeds fair use, he or she may be sued for violation of the Copyright Law.

The library system at the UPR-RP retains the right to deny the reproduction of any material that may be in violation of the Copyright Law. The reproduction of books is prohibited by law. Places where you can reproduce materials or documents:
