HOW TO GET PUERTO RICO

San Juan is the main point of entry for Puerto Rico. There are direct flights from major cities in the United States, Latin America, and Europe to the Luis Muñoz Marín International (LMM) Airport. The airport is located in Carolina, on the east side of the metropolitan area. Puerto Rico is also a major cruise ship port with more than 1.2 million passengers embarking on 700 sailings throughout the year. The main cruise ship docks are right in Old San Juan.

To reach the major hotel areas and Old San Juan, take Rt. 26 west to San Juan and Isla Verde. If you are going to do much traveling through the metro area, pick up one of the large-scale maps available in most convenience stores.
