Admission Requirements per Graduate Program
Aspiring applicants for admission to graduate programs must meet the following general requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university or college.
- Minimum GPA of 3.oo in a scale of 4.oo.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Capacity for critical analysis.

Admission applicants
You must request a student copy of the credit transcript to place on your admission application. However, you must request that your home university send an official credit transcript with a conferred degree. It can be in digital format to email admisiones.degi@upr.edu or to the following postal address:

Student graduated from UPR-RP
Applicants who are studying or completed their academic degree at the UPR RÍO PIEDRAS must only attach a student copy of the credit transcript with the most recent studies completed at the Institution.

Applicant with studies at Foreign Universities
Applicants who are studying or have completed their degree at foreign universities must have their academic credentials evaluated and certified by an institution accredited by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). They must ensure that all degrees and courses are certified (Course by Course Report).
