Graduate Program in Computer Science

The program in computer science provides an excellent educational experience of theoretical and practical research that allows alumni to be leaders in all their ventures in science and technology.

Master's

Project Management

The Master in Project Management, which consists of 34 credits, is designed to be offered in twelve-week periods, thus allowing the student to finish the degree in a year. It is an online program with a creation component: the creation of a project plan at the end of the degree to put into practice the acquired knowledge, or a research work of a particular topic in project management. The aim of the program is to form professionals with knowledge to lead complex projects, integrating the requirements and demands of the global standard of the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Nutrition and Dietetics

The Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics with a Supervised Experiential Learning (MSND-SEL) is a combined online and in-person program that integrates the Master’s degree in Science with a 1,000 supervised experiential learning hours (SEL) required to be eligible to take the national Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and local licensing exams.

Disaster Planning

This is a program for graduate students of the Rَío Piedras Campus and professionals who seek knowledge on how planning plays a vital role in disaster risk reduction. It is an academic opportunity for students and professionals interested in being exposed to new knowledge, skills, and practice in an interdisciplinary area of knowledge of great necessity for our archipelago and region. The certificate consists of 16 credits that can be completed in three semesters.

Research Psychology in Neurocognition and Human Development

This specialty is only offered at the Río Piedras Campus of the University of Puerto Rico.

This new curriculum provides the knowledge to perform in the areas of research, teaching, consulting and evaluation, among others. Tailored to the most recent trends in the philosophical, curricular, and professional fields.

The Master's program can be completed in two and a half years. It is a non-thesis program consisting of 30 credits.

The Doctoral program consists of 80 credits (30 master's and 50 doctoral credits)
